Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Lines (from DC)

As my title gives away, Cee’s photo challenge this week is to throw her some Lines (a challenge in her groupings of Shapes & Textures).

All lines in this series have come from Washington DC. (Yes, this is where we both chuckle that we’re not surprised I can find plentiful lines coming from DC.) It was my son’s first time there, so he gets the featured cover. 🙂

1. Lions, you say? Oops! Wrong kind!
Actually, I hope you don’t miss the lines in this magnificently sculpted lion at the entrance to the DC zoo.

More than anything, I simply like the line of the photo.

2. More than anything, I simply like the line of this photo (almost as much as the obvious line I could drop here about this primate having a monkey on his back!)

The panda's diagonal line centrally stands out among the surrounding horizontal rock & branch lines compared to backdrop vertical fence lines

The Washington Monument juts high on the mall skyline, barely creating linear contrast with that day's overcast sky.

DC architecture abounds with interesting lines.

A peek inside at some inner lines.

The question basiclly asks what an allosaurus eats. (He's not giving it away by any contents under the lines of those ribs.)

8. The question on the sign basically asks what an allosaurus eats. (I’m not lyin’ when I say he’s not giving it away by revealing any contents under that linear ribcage – and I hope that empty stomach doesn’t mean he’s looking for someone to fill it!)

Speaking of filling stomachs...here's a funny line or two on that.

When in DC, live luxuriously like the representatives do? I liked the lines between the curtains & the chair here - obviously, very relaxing! :)
