Trifextra: Week fifty-two: Trifextra has challenged me to provide a 33-word example of personification. Since I spend so much of my intimate time with My Work, this only seemed an appropriate response.

Do your days just stretch on? Geddit! 😉
Do not pass GO. Do not collect 200 hundred dollars… but at least we’ll be in bad-pun jail together 🙂
Yay! Prison buddies! 🙂
I know exactly how this feels, although I’m convinced my work nights are stretched out in a torture chamber–with me alongside them! (:
Now, Draug, I’ve read your writings. I can’t imagine any place that you’d rather be! hehe Keep on stretching – that torture rack of yours is producing some wonderful results!
I honestly think that our multi-task filled work days are rushing us headlong toward an early grave. Glad to have a few peaceful, calm moments on this Saturday morning to comment to you about it. :).
Sorry, Tom – I got side-tracked while multi-tasking. What were you saying? 😉 Point well stated, sir. Wishing you a calm, meditative sort of day…
Great writing! Lol, love the way you put it in with the image – at first I thought I was being spammed with an actual ad, it was so well done!
thanks, Dawn. It’s a relief to know, if all else fails, I might have the ability to become a successful spammer. 😉 Have a great day! -j
Ah ha!I know those days even though I do not work anymore,ha!ha!Maybe my (non)working days are hobnobbing with your work days & learning to stretch themselves too-damn those yoga classes!Need I add that this is a wonderful piece of writing together with the picture box?:-)
I’ll surely trade the workday yoga for your moonlight tryst any day – which was exceptionally written! 😉
Lol!Am sure all of us would love a little romance-that too on a moonlit night;-)Thank you so much for the compliment, this means a lot to me:-)
point those baby toes . . . I cannot do an aerobics class without hearing the female voice intoning those words from the record (yes! record) being played in my front room. Nowadays – like yesterday in particular – the clock stopped moving. literally stopped. and I sat at my desk watching 5 p.m. streeeeettttccchhh farther and farther away from me. I hear ya here. 🙂
eek! that was the loooooooooonggggest hour!!
This is great!
Long work days aren’t fun….how come the weekend hours pass by twice as fast?
weekend days should get equivalent time to work days at the very least too, while we’re commiserating!! 🙂
hahaha. oops, mine just snapped a hamstring.
I go to yoga class 3-4 times a week during my flexible work week and I can’t do that. Not even close. Terrific visual. I love the play on words. And the playful spirit of the piece. And I can’t leave without mentioning how much I enjoy your responses to the comments. You are funny. It’s nice to laugh!
Steph, if you keep trying to bend that way, you could bring new meaning to snapping at work! 😉 Stop in & let’s share a giggle anytime – life gets WAAAY too serious without a dash of laughter mixed in, doesn’t it? (btw, when you’re able to strike that pose, send me a pic & I’ll be happy to swap it up!)
I wish weekends were longer or stretched from Friday to Tuesday.. And work from Wednesday to Thursday then I’d be happy to stretch the work days. 🙂 Enjoyed reading your take on the prompt.
Ha ha ha!
haha that’s awesome! I wish my work days were as flexible!
A stretching work day sounds like a lot of work. Nice one!
This was great! It made me smile. 🙂
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I appreciate the time you took to stop by. May your day be filled with joy and peace.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
and thank you for the blessing 🙂
